My how things have changed...
This year we packed up Megan and the twins and headed to Founders Day with my niece, nephew, and sister and brother-in-law who recently returned from overseas (we are so happy to have him back!). We ate amazing food, sips on some beers, and strolled around the arts and crafts booths.

It was beautiful out and we didn't want our day to end so we went to dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants who recently did a complete rehaul on their drink and dinner menu. I was super excited to have the fried green tomatoes and they were...AMAZING!

We had so much fun sampling the new beers, attempting to keep the twins happy, and enjoying the beautiful weather!
On Sunday we made a much needed trip to the beach! The waves were great this weekend so of course Chris was determined to elevate my surf widow status to surf widow with three kids. I wish a had taken a picture of our trek to the ocean because it was hilarious! Chris had Eden riding in the iBert on the front of his beach cruiser, his surf rack loaded with his favorite fish on the right side of the bike, and the bike trailer attached to the rear with Remy and the rest of our beach gear. I had...my beach chair backpack. I might have gotten a couple of ugly stares from cars driving by for being so unhelpful.
Eden and Remy were actually very well behaved and we had a fun time attempting to keep them on the sheet and under the umbrella!

This is just the beginning of their first real beach summer (they were so tiny last year) so I am finalizing their beach bag "must haves" and I post it soon! Overall we had a great weekend and it got me very excited for the fun summer ahead!
